WordCamp US returns for another year, this time in Phoenix, Arizona, for four days, August 16 to 19. The event will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center in the heart of downtown.
Contributor Day
The schedule kicks off with Contributor Day on Sunday, August 16, a full day dedicated to giving back to the WordPress project. Attendees can join teams to contribute to Core code, documentation, design, training, accessibility, translation, and so on.
Contributor Day is open to everyone, regardless of skill level or prior contribution experience. For those unable to attend in person, remote participation is also an option, allowing contributors from anywhere to join online and help shape the future of WordPress.
Showcase Day
Day 2 is Showcase Day, focusing on real-world WordPress projects and how teams run demanding sites at scale. Specifically, this day highlights standout work from the WordPress Showcase directory, featuring global brands like Disney and NASA.
In addition, other presentations offer a builder’s perspective on catching bugs faster using automated testing and even running the Block Editor inside a custom app.
Conference Days
The two main conference days bring a full slate of sessions across four distinct tracks: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Honing Your Skills, Technical WordPress, and Beginner WordPress.
The AI track treats this technology as a tool to handle with care. This track offers practical sessions on AI-assisted development, preparing for AI agents as site visitors, and weighing the legal and ethical questions of using AI tools.
Next, the Technical WordPress and Honing Your Skills tracks cover building craft and business. Technical sessions dig into modern development workflows and automated testing. Presentations highlight helpful browser-based tools like the WordPress Playground and plugin pipelines.
The Honing Your Skills track adds practical guidance on pricing and changing agency models.The Beginner WordPress track keeps the door open for all newcomers with approachable sessions. Finally, hands-on workshops run through all tracks so attendees can build something real.
Happiness Bar
The Happiness Bar at WordCamp US 2026 is a free, drop-in help desk located on the show floor. Volunteer WordPress experts stand ready at this station to assist attendees. This welcoming help center remains open to all skill levels throughout the entire four-day conference, making it easy for anyone to stop by and resolve specific hurdles on the spot.

The Sponsor Hall next door is a dynamic space where many of the best unplanned conversations happen. This area offers excellent opportunities for spontaneous networking and informal discussions among attendees, volunteers, and sponsor company representatives.
Career Corner
The Career Corner provides a relaxed space for job seekers weighing their next professional move. Attendees can browse the job board, meet company representatives, and see who is hiring across the ecosystem.
