The WordPress Plugin Repository has clear rules: you cannot begin your plugin’s display name with someone else’s trademarked term.
To comply with these guidelines and ensure our plugin remains available in the official WordPress plugin repository, we needed to rename our plugin. We respect these rules and want to be fully transparent with our users about the reason behind this change.
The plugin repository policy states that plugin names should not start with trademarked terms like “Woo” or “WooCommerce”. While you can still indicate compatibility (e.g., “Product Slider for WooCommerce”), the name itself must be unique and distinguishable from the Woo Marks.
